For dads and supporting partners
You’re part of this journey too
Clear, practical advice to help you understand what is happening, support your partner and baby, and look after yourself along the way.

Before pregnancy
Preparing together
Becoming a dad or partner starts before a positive test. Small shared changes and honest conversations can make the journey feel more supported from day one.
When not to wait
Before pregnancy, seek urgent help for a mental health crisis or immediate risk of harm. Call 999 or go to A&E if anyone is in immediate danger.
If someone is in immediate danger, has severe difficulty breathing, collapses, has a seizure, or is unresponsive, call 999.
