Crescent Midwife Coaching

Qualified midwife coaching support

Your NHS midwife remains at the centre of your maternity care. Our video and phone sessions give you more time with an experienced midwife to talk through questions, prepare for your next appointment and feel supported in the weeks between routine check-ups.

General information only — not a diagnosis or personalised medical advice. This guide cannot assess you or your baby. Contact your midwife, maternity unit, health visitor, GP or NHS 111 for individual advice. Call 999 in an emergency. Read our health information disclaimer.

Why this support matters now

England’s 2026 independent maternity investigation reported that too many women felt unheard and that care could feel fragmented. Parliament has also debated stronger national maternity oversight. Crescent responds to that need for time, listening and continuity — while remaining entirely separate from, and never a replacement for, NHS care.

How a booking works

  1. 1

    You send a request

Tell her the programme you're drawn to and a couple of times that suit you. Nothing is charged at this point.

  2. 2

    She replies personally

Usually within two working days, with a time confirmed or a couple of alternatives.

  3. 3

    You pay before the session

A secure payment link is sent with your confirmation. Sessions are held once payment is received.

  4. 4

You meet by video or phone

A private link, wherever you are. Evenings and weekends are usually possible.

Changing or cancelling

  • Rescheduling is free with 24 hours' notice, as often as you need.
  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice are refunded in full; inside 48 hours, half is refunded.
  • If labour starts, or you or your baby are unwell, the session is simply moved — no charge, whatever the notice.
  • If she ever has to cancel, you are refunded in full or moved to a time of your choosing.

Request your session

Nothing is charged here. Send your preferred times and she'll reply personally to confirm.

How would you like to meet?

Your privacy

Plain English, no small print. Bump to Baby is the data controller for everything below.

What we collect
Only what you type into the booking form: your name, email, an optional phone number, the programme you're interested in, your preferred times, where you are on your journey, and anything you choose to write in the notes.
Why we hold it
To arrange and hold your session, and to reply to you. Your details are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never added to the weekly emails unless you subscribe separately yourself.
Who can see it
Your midwife and the small Bump to Baby team, through a signed-in, access-controlled area. Nobody else can read booking requests.
What is said in a session
Conversations are private and are not recorded. Brief notes may be kept so she can pick up where you left off. She would only ever pass something on without your agreement if there were a serious risk of harm to you or your baby.
How long we keep it
Booking details are kept for up to 24 months after your last session, then deleted. Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@bumptobaby.life and we'll action it within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Coaching complements your NHS care with time, preparation and companionship between appointments. It is never a diagnosis, a prescription or a substitute for care from your own midwife, GP or maternity unit. Anything needing hands-on care belongs with them, in person. If you are worried about yourself or your baby — including any change in your baby's movements — contact your maternity unit or NHS 111 straight away. Call 999 in an emergency.

Prefer to ask a question first? Write to the midwife.
