If you work in the NHS and an hour or two a day would meaningfully top up your income, this was built for you — we bring the clients, the bookings and your weekly social post; you keep the job you love.

We're a brand-led service, so the clients, bookings, payments, diaries and technology all come from us. You simply turn up for the session and be the midwife you already are.

This is a top-up, not a leap — we're not asking anyone to leave the NHS or build a private practice. Just unhurried one-to-one time with parents, without caseloads or paperwork mountains.
What the role involves
Two things, and both fit around the shifts you already work.
Hold virtual one-to-one sessions
Coaching and companionship across birth preparation, feeding, the fourth trimester and the first year — by video or phone, in your own calm space. Coaching only, never medical care.
Share one post a week
Every Monday we send you a ready-made Bump to Baby pack — image, caption and all — written in your voice. Sharing it takes about two minutes. That's the whole social commitment.

A ready-to-share post every Monday — image, caption and timing. No blank page, no content calendar, no pressure.
£40 an hour, every hour
We pay £40 for every hour you coach — an hour or two a day is a meaningful boost to your take-home pay, on top of the job you love. Self-employed, invoiced and paid monthly. Straightforward and well above agency rates.
Bookings and payments, handled
Your enquiry form, diary and payment links live on our site. Parents book; you just confirm the time.
The Bump to Baby voice, gently taught
A short induction on how our guidance stays warm, safe and never a diagnosis — so everything you share feels like you.
Who we're looking for
- You're an NMC-registered midwife based in the UK (we check every pin).
- You're employed — NHS, trust or community — and would like to supplement your income with an hour or two a day. We're not recruiting independent midwives with their own private practices; we bring the clients to you.
- You have a warm, calm way with people — thirty years of it isn't required, but kindness is.
- You're happy to show up on social media once a week, using the content we provide.
- You have a quiet space and a steady internet connection for video sessions.
Sessions across the network are coaching and companionship — never a diagnosis, prescription or a substitute for a family's own midwife, GP or maternity unit. Anything needing hands-on care always belongs with them, in person, and every midwife in the network practises within their NMC code at all times.
